Sanlucar de Barrameda is the most western locality of the coast of Cadiz. It borders with the Parque de Doñana (national natural park), and where the Guadalquivir River ends and flows into the ocean. Its population is of 70,000 inhabitants. Fishing, agriculture, and vineyards are what have historically marked their main source of income. To these activities, which are still in practice today we can also add the growth in tourism in the past years as a source of income. |
