Matalascañas is a residential tourist location and belongs to the onubense municipality of Almonte. Its prime focus is tourism, and together with Punta Umbría, makes up one of the most desirable spots to visit in the province of Huelva, Costa de la Luz. Almonte's population is close to 19,000 inhabitants, of which many belong to the area of Matalascañas. This location incredibley doubles in size in the summer months. El Rocío, Doñana, and Mazagón are the surrounding areas, where you can relax, enjoy the beach and nature, as well as enjoy different activities. Here you will also find great bars and restaurants to get a bite to eat or have a drink. |
