Passing through Conil and Vejer de la Frontera, but before arriving to Cádiz and San Fernando you will run into the locality of Chiclana de la Frontera. It has a population of almost 100,000 inhabitants and dedicates itself primarely to the wine industry, although now a days it also deals with toursim installations such as Novo Sancti Petri.
Sancti Petri, La Barrosa and its' urban area, are the three main elements that make up Chiclana de la Frontera. The first and second places are very touristy, while the urban area holds its traditions and love of their land, as well as the famous Chiclanero wines.
The island of Sancti Pedtri, in front of the beach in Chiclana, holds an isle with a castle in which San Fernando and Chiclana have their disputes over who it belongs too. Both localities consider it part of their municipality.
