Costa de la Luz is unbeatable if you are looking to practice outdoor activities. You can always enjoy great weather, lot´s of sun and daylight hours, large open spaces, best crystal clear water and golden sand beaches. To all this we add coastal areas with a lot of wind, and you have found paradise for outdoor and water sports.

If you enjoy windsurfing and/or kitesurfing, or practice sailing sports, you must know that Tarifa is the meca. It is known worldwide as one of the best locations, since you can always count on strong winds. Other areas where strong winds are frequent are Caños de Meca, Zahara de los Atunes and Valdelagrana.
If you prefer scubadiving, Costa de la Luz and the Gulf of Cádiz take pride in their crystal waters, where you will find an inmense number of deepsea treasures.

If watersports are not your thing and you prefer to keep your feet on dry land, there are an inumerable number of natural parks in the provinces of Cádiz and Huelva. There you can go hiking, horseback riding, cycling or enjoy long walks in places such as Parque Natural de la Flecha, Parque Natural de los Alcornocales, Parque Natural de la Breña, Marismas de Barbate, Parque Natural del Estrecho etc. Parque de Doñana (most well known), is a beautiful park to which you need a special permission to enter.

If going golfing is what you´re looking to do, there are many golf courses around Costa de La Luz. No matter where you are, you will surely have one at no more than an hours distance for you to enjoy playing a few holes on your vacation.
